A specialist NDIS provider in Adelaide is seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner to lead the development of person-centred, evidence-informed behaviour support plans. You will work in a genuine hybrid model with a supportive senior team, low-caseload model and dedicated report-writing days — ideal for a practitioner who wants clinical depth without burnout.
Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive functional behaviour assessments across home, school and community settings
- Develop interim and comprehensive behaviour support plans aligned with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
- Deliver training and coaching to families, support workers and educators
- Monitor restrictive practices and lead authorisation and reporting processes
- Collaborate with allied health, medical and support coordination teams
Requirements
- NDIS Practitioner registration at Core, Proficient, Advanced or Specialist level
- Minimum 3 years experience in positive behaviour support
- Strong working knowledge of the NDIS PBS Capability Framework
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and current driver's licence
- Excellent report writing and stakeholder engagement skills
