Speech Pathologist
Job overview
A boutique paediatric practice in Brisbane's northern suburbs is expanding and looking for a Speech Pathologist to join its close-knit clinical team. You will work with children aged 2–16 across speech sound disorders, language delay, literacy and social communication, with dedicated non-billable time for planning, parent coaching and multidisciplinary case conferences.
Responsibilities
- Assess and treat paediatric clients across speech, language, literacy and social communication
- Design engaging, evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each child and family
- Coach parents and educators to embed strategies at home and school
- Participate in weekly team meetings, journal clubs and case reviews
- Contribute to service development and community outreach programs
Requirements
- Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (SPA membership)
- Minimum 2 years experience with paediatric caseloads
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children) or willingness to obtain
- Strong family-centred practice skills
- Australian working rights
